My Father's House Ministry's Home For Women

A refugee in the storm

According to a recent article in the Fayetteville Observer, "on any given day between 250 and 350 homeless people are trying to survive in Fayetteville, police estimate.  If they are looking for a warm place to sleep they have few places to go."

"My Father's House Ministry's Home For Women" "MFHMHFW" is a "refuge in the storm".  Our ministry will provide a warm, safe, loving and caring environment for women who are transitioning in life due to difficult unforeseen circumstances.  We firmly believe that when one feels good about their environment they feel good about themselves.  The environment created in MFHMHFW will foster a positive atitude about oneself.  In return, they will become productive citizens of their community.

Being a "home" and not a shelter, we will assist women in the following areas:

  • Provide temporary housing, food, clothing and transportation
  • Develop a holistic attitude spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally
  • Develop professional skills to integrate them back into the market place and community
  • Guide women to plan for a future in which they can provide permanent house and sustenance for themselves

We are a non-profit organization in the embryonic stages of development.  We incorporated with the state of North Carolina and governed by the Lord, Jesus Christ. With God's help and sponsors like you, we will be able to successfully accomplished our goals. I am seeking individuals and organizations that would be interested in sponsoring the program through physical and monetary needs.  There is a definite need in Fayetteville for shelters.  This is a community problem and collectively we can all bring whatever gifts, talents, experience and expertise we possess to the table for the common goal of extending a helping hand to those in need of a helping hand.

If you are interesed in sponsoring this ministry please go to the donation session of this website and click on the palpay button.  You can also contact Cheryl Thomas, Founder of MFHMHFW at myfathershouseministrys2@yahoo.com or via phone 910-364-1554.
